About me
I am Jeshin Parambalath, I was born and raised in South India, where I completed my schooling and early life. Growing up there gave me a strong sense of culture, community, and communication, which have been important in my career in tourism. Later, I moved to North India for work and to experience new cultures. Living and working there allowed me to learn about different communities, adapt to new environments, and manage challenges in remote and high-altitude destinations.
I am a tourism professional with over nine years of experience in customer service, leadership, and travel operations, currently pursuing a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Tourism Destination Development at Thompson Rivers University. My career has been driven by a passion for creating meaningful travel experiences.
A key area of my expertise is helicopter tourism, which I have engaged with extensively in operations across the Indian Himalayas. This includes coordinating logistics for challenging terrains, ensuring compliance with aviation safety standards, managing operational risks, and liaising with service providers and local authorities.
I am exploring ways to use technology, data, and policy to make tourism more accessible, safe, and environmentally responsible.
